Claw care

Cats' claws can get very long and sharp. Should they get this way, they can cause a lot of damage to walls, furniture, curtains, and even your skin! 

Moreover, long claws can pierce the cat's skin and cause him pain and discomfort. The wound can even get infected. 

Finally, longer claws can cause the cat's finger's to «roll up», which can lead to tendinitis.

Thus, a nail trimmer should be used regularly to keep the cat's claws short at all times. This will also prevent the vein and nerve inside the claw from growing too long, otherwise we would not be able to trim the claws as short as we'd like to. 

Nail covers can also be put over real nails so they hook less.
