Aïkiou® Interactive Bowl for dogs

Interactive food bowl for dogs made of compartments covered with sliding doors that the animal must move in order to get access to the food. Obliges the dog to eat slowly which helps to prevent excessive weight gain and digestive troubles such as indigestion, vomiting or gastric torsion. Promotes a better physical and mental health by helping, through play, to reduce the anxiety of dogs.

Dishwasher safe. The base is anti-slip. Made of durable plastic, safe for the food.

Used to slow down the ingestion of food for dogs who tend to eat too fast and to amuse them at the same time. By slowing down the food consumption, dogs are less at risk of developing digestive troubles such as indigestion, vomiting and gastric torsion. Since it is an interactive game which obliges animals to search for their food, they experience less anxiety which promotes a better mental health as well as a better physical health.

Also used to help dogs who eat too much to acquire a sense of fullness with a smaller amount of food. This helps reduce excessive weight gain and several of the health problems resulting from it.

1. In order to familiarize the dog with his Aïkiou® bowl, remove all the detachable parts and fill the cavities with his food;
2. Once he is used to the bowl, replace all of the detachable parts and fill each of the cavities;
3. For the section situated in the center of the bowl: fill each of the cavities by turning the carousel while holding it in place. For the sliding doors: move the little doors and fill the cavities.

For bowl care: remove all of the detachable parts and clean all of the components of the bowl well with water and dish soap. Rinse well. May also be washed in the dishwasher.

To remove the carousel:

1. Align the two straight lines ;
2. Lift the carousel slightly;
3. Turn it anticlockwise in the direction of the arrow to allow the carousel to be removed.

To remove the sliding doors, detach one side at a time, and lift.

Clean the Aïkiou® bowl thoroughly after each use.
