Flexadin® Plus

Nutritional supplement in the form of chews which help to conserve the health and mobility of the joints. It is composed mainly of glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin, a precursor and one of the constituents of healthy joint cartilage respectively. It protects joint cartilage from the devastating effects of inflammation and stimulates the synthesis of these constituents by increasing the viscosity of the joint fluid (synovial) and by slightly reducing the deterioration of the cartilage.

The chews also contain other chondro-protectors such as manganese sulfate, omega-3 fatty acids, methionine, vitamin E and a plant known as «Devil’s claw». These ingredients all have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which help to neutralize free radicals. The «Devil’s claw» has also demonstrated a reduction in the pain of people suffering from osteoarthritis.

Actif ingredient and concentration: 

Each 1.5g tablet for cats and small dogs contains:

       125mg of glucosamine hydrochloride;

       100 mg of chondroitin sulfate;

       37.5 mg of Harpagophytum procumbens («Devil’s claw»);

       37.5 mg omega-3 fatty acids (linseed oil);

       18 mg of di-methionin;

       5.4 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (omega -3 fish oil);

       3.8 mg docosahexaenoic acid (omega -3 fish oil);

       2.5 mg manganese sulfate;

       10 mg (5 UI) of vitamin E.

Each 5 g tablet for medium and large dogs provides:

      500 mg of glucosamine hydrochloride;

       400 mg of chondroitin sulfate;

       150 mg of Harpagophytum procumbens («Devil’s claw»);

       150 mg omega-3 fatty acids (linseed oil);

       21 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (omega -3 fish oil);

       14 mg docosahexaenoic acid (omega -3 fish oil);

       10 mg manganese sulfate;

       40 mg (20 UI) of vitamin E.

Used for cats and dogs to help prevent the degeneration of joint cartilage and the development of osteoarthritis. Also used in combination with other therapeutic methods in the management of osteoarthritis.

Administer orally the number of tablets indicated below daily relative to the species of animal being treated and the ideal body weight of the animal or according to the veterinarians’ recommendation. The pills may be given directly in the mouth or mixed with food.

Dogs:

Under 5 kg = 1 tablet of 1.5 g;

Between 5 and 10 kg = 2 tablets of 1.5 g;

Between 10 and 20 kg = 1 tablet of 5 g;

Between 20 and 40 kg = 2 tablets of 5 g;

Over 40 kg = 3 tablets of 5 g.

For veterinary use only. Do not use on gestating or lactating females. Do not use with cases of diabetes, gastric or duodenal ulcers. Do not use on animals suffering from coagulation problems or receive anticoagulants. Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
