Flexadin®

Nutritional supplement for cats and dogs in the form of chewable tablets which help to conserve the health and mobility of joints. It is mainly composed of, glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin, a precursor and one of the constituents of healthy joint cartilage respectively, which protect the joint cartilage from the devastating effects of inflammation by stimulating the synthesis of these constituents, increasing the viscosity of the joint fluid (synovial) and slightly reducing the degradation of the cartilage.

The tablets also contain other chondro-protectors such as magnesium sulfate and a plant commonly called «Devil’s claw» which have anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants which help to neutralize free-radicals. The «Devil’s claw» has, as well, demonstrated a reduction in pain for people suffering from osteoarthritis.

Actif ingredient and concentration: 

Each 2 g tablet provides:

500 mg of glucosamine hydrochloride;

400 mg chondroitin sulfate;

150 mg of Harpagophytum procumbens (Devil’s Claw);

31.2 mg of magnesium sulfate.

Used for cats and dogs to help prevent the degeneration of joint cartilage and the development of osteoarthritis. Also used in combination with other therapeutic options in the management of osteoarthritis.

Administer orally the number of tablets indicated below daily depending on the species of animal to be treated and the ideal body weight of the animal or according to the veterinarians’ recommendation. The tablets may be given directly in the mouth or mixed with food.

Dogs:

Less than 5 kg = ¼ tablet;

Between 5 and 10 kg = ½ tablet;

Between 10 and 20 kg = 1 tablet;

Between 20 and 30 kg = 1 1/2 tablets;

Between 30 and 40 kg = 2 tablets;

Over 40 kg = 3 tablets.

For veterinary use only. Do not use for gestating or lactating females. Do not use on animals suffering from diabetes or gastric or duodenal ulcers. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
