Ivomec® (Ivermectin)

Ivomec^® is a dewormer.

Injectable solution

Used in dogs and cats to prevent heartworm infections and to control hookworms in cats.

Ivermectin is also used to treat certain skin parasites.

Ivermectin is not recommended for puppies and kittens under 6 weeks of age.

Decreased body temperature and vomiting have been observed in some patients following the administration of this product.

Collie-type dogs should be watched closely for 8 hours after administration.

Interactions have been reported with the following drugs: benzodiazepines, ketamine, spinosad, erythromycin, itraconazole, ketoconazole and many others. 

Consult your veterinarian to make sure this product is suitable for your pet if he is taking other medication.
